Today was a good example. I forced my run pace down about a minute slower than my marathon training pace. In the past, I've struggled with finding the pace and holding it. As I continue to train, it seems that it gets easier and easier.
I found running with a buddy helps on recovery run day... Especially when you have some catching up to do. The pace becomes as easy as the conversation. :)
So make sure you have some slower paced recovery runs in your schedule...
